I'm really not a TV person. Greg and TIVO have changed that a little through the years. But I'm still kinda a freak about what my kids watch and how long they watch TV. I'm not a big movie person either, so neither are my kids. Sitting for 2 hours doing nothing can be painful! But Sid is a breath of fresh air! He teaches my kids why people wear reading glasses vs. juice glasses, why a banana goes mushy, why their shoes shrink. For my son who asks all these kinds of questions 1456 times a day- it's great! Even Lauren sits through it as they use words like investigate, observing, experiment and explanation. Everyone needs a break from Dora!

I'm really liking Sid

Your parents live in the next town over. Just a mile from me. Is your brothers wife Tiffany? I deal with her a bit from Caspers. My Dad was really great friends with Casper Merrill. As a kid when we would go visit him he would always give us free ice cream. Well, when you come visit, please look me up. It would be great to visit with you. Hugs to all!
