Another Soccer Season

And this is the smile you get after you just scored your 2nd goal in one game. Or in any games for that matter. Lauren decided she wanted to try soccer this year.  She had one other girl on her team and had a great time.

Taylor’s coach went above and beyond and made certificates for the kids and handed out candy bars. Taylor got the “Whatchamacallit Moves” award for having moves that they didn’t even know existed and got a Whatchamacallit candy bar. He thought that was so cool! And it’s true. We saw a lot of karate kicks during a soccer game.

Baseball

Taylor really wasn't too impressed with Baseball. However, he stuck with it and even thought it was fun towards the end. He plays coach pitch and after a few pitches, they let the boys use the tee. Taylor never wanted it pitched to him. He always wanted the tee from the get go. However, his last game, he let the coach pitch it to him and he hit it!! He was SO excited that he hit it, Greg had to remind him to RUN! We are so proud of our Taylor for sticking to it and practicing at home.

Baseball

Baseball has been a first for us this year. And it's been a really good thing. Taylor hits, and runs and cheers and somewhat pays attention to what's going on. But the BEST part of baseball is his smile! And his patient coaches!
However, if you ask him the best part of baseball- it's the snack!

The first time he hit the ball, he was so excited! He ran and ran to first base- carrying the bat the whole way! So Taylor. So lovable.

First

Taylor had his first soccer game last weekend. He had a great time til the 4th quarter. And he was very happy when he scored a goal!! The game started at 1:15pm and it was 98 degrees outside. They play 3 on 3 with no goalie. Does it get any more P E R F E C T for Taylor? There are 5 boys on a team so that they can rotate out. However, only 3 boys were at that game. By the end Taylor was hot and tired. They had one play left and he was crying, "I want to go home." Poor guy. Next week we have a 9AM game and hopefully will have 5 boys!
