My Mom came to visit for a week. We had a lot of fun with her. The kids loved going on bike rides with her, to the park, playing games, reading books, playing the Wii, walking to the river, playing their flutes- just to name a few. She also got to go to Taylor and Lauren’s soccer games, watch Taylor in karate and watch Lauren practice the piano. We love you GG!
My Mom (aka GG) came to visit us for a week. We had so much fun with her while she was here. She got to go to Taylor's last b-ball game and first soccer game of the season. She also went to Karate, dance class and music class. Mom and I even got to go get pedicures and manicures together for the first time!
Before GG came, Taylor had called her on the phone and asked her to make him a dream catcher because he was having nightmares. And it toally worked!! :) So Lauren decided she needed one too. So while GG was here they made one for Lauren.

We love when GG can come visit us- we always have a great time.
I'm kinda everywhere as far as dates go on my blog. But I really wanted to put a lot of pictures on my blog when my Mom came to visit in April. Therefore, it takes a bit longer to post when a slide show is involved. But my kids request to watch these slide shows all the time. They just love it. (The Halloween one is the most requested!)
While my Mom was here she attended the Native Flute Schoolat Red Mountain Spa. One day we went early to pick her up so we could join in the drum circle they have at the end of class. The kids just loved playing all these fun musical instruments. At one point, they pick someone to be the "leader" and you do what they are doing. The group just loved having the kids there and just started following Taylor's lead. So they did what ever he did- even when he dropped his shaker. He is still laughing about that one.
We also got to go to Springdale to the Flute Festival. We listened to the musicians and played with the vendor's musical instruments. GG also took them for a little hike and they played their own native flutes that GG had made for them. Taylor and Lauren really like their flutes. And they really love their GG. A Beautiful Day!
Another highlight of our day trip was stopping by the "jail" and feeding the animals and playing in the "little houses".
We love it when family comes to visit us. GG came in January so that means my sister and her family come down too. We always have a great time and the cousins love playing with each other. My kids are lucky to have such a fun GG who plays with them, reads to them and just loves to spend time with them. Here are a few of my favorite pictures.
