On Memorial Day we spent the day with Greg’s parents and had a super fun day. First, we went to see the dinosaur tracks out in the middle of no where. The kids thought they were cool, but they really liked hiking around and just climbing on all the fun rock formations. And they also got to ride in Gpa’s Jeep, which I’m pretty sure was the highlight itself of the day trip. We went through quite a bit of sand and our mini van, as cool as it is, would have never made it. We also went to the Children’s Forest at the Kiln. Along the way, there were posts to read and the drawings were all done by children. Taylor read all the posts to us. By the end, Lindsey decided she needed to read them too. Such a fun day followed by a yummy BBQ dinner at Gma and Gpa’s house.
