I’m really loving the new food guide plate. I’ve always thought the pyramid was confusing, especially for kids. And anything colorful is always a good thing. My kids totally get the new visual. I love that I hear questions like, “Mom, are raisins a fruit?”, and “Does multi-grain wheat thin mean that it’s a grain?” I’m thinkin’ about printing it and hanging it on our fridge as a reminder.. for all of us! Now they actually notice when I skip the veggie that night.
