The BIG Debate
So we are expecting a baby!! With that comes the debate- do we find out in 4 weeks or in June when the baby comes? I'm a HUGE planner. I like lists, I'm always working on the next "project", etc. Greg is not. However, he wants to find out and couldn't stand to wait til June. But we found out early for Taylor and Lauren, we have one of each, and this is probably our last one- I'm getting old. Most people my age already have "built in" babysitters!! :) What would you do?

Oh my gosh,congrats!I always said if i had one of each i would let the 3rd be a surprise, but when i really think about it i don't know if i could wait that long. Good luck with that! lol.

Since Greg wants to know, and you don't.. what if he just finds out.. and swears to keep it a secret!? haha.. if it was me.. I would find out I wouldn't be able to wait!
I say you DON'T find out. You have a boy and a girl so you have everything you need for both. It is really exciting to wait. It makes it fun in the moment and fun when you call people once the baby has arrived. Because let's be honest only other moms really care how big the baby is or how long the labor was.
We didn't find out with Parly or Clayre. Shayne knew about Kate, but I didn't... of course to keep that a secret we told everyone we didn't find out. And we both found out about Maggie again not telling anyone. We think it is much more fun for everyone else to wait. Congrats!!!!
Yay! It's going to be so fun to have neighbor babies so close together! I think you should NOT find out if you can wait. I just spent all morning letting everyone know that I am having a boy - I feel like I've already announced his birth and now I'll have to do that all over again in April!! You have all the stuff you need and it will make the delivery just that much easier to get through with an extra surprise at the end! But, you might get things like diapers and wipes instead of blankets and clothes.... Just a thought.
